We all love watching Batman movies but have you ever wondered why Batman is considered one of the greatest superheroes of all time even though he does not possess any real superpower at all. Apart from the fact that he is super-rich.

Well, here is a quote from the famous 2012 superhero film The Dark Knight Rises, “A hero can be anyone. Even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a little boy’s shoulders to let him know that the world hadn’t ended.” Bruce Wayne/Batman

So here are some things we all can do to become more like Batman —

Turn your pain into power

Bruce was only eight years old when his parents were killed in front of his eyes. Instead of getting destroyed by this traumatic event and letting his pain and trauma become a drag in his life he used this pain as fuel. And became more tough and valiant after this event.

So, instead of complaining and making excuses about what went wrong with you. Turn your pain into motivation and take power from it.

Expose yourself to your fears

In the movie Batman Begins, young Bruce falls into a dry well and is attacked by a swarm of bats, developing a fear of bats. Later in the movie he goes inside the same well and voluntarily exposes himself to the cauldron of bats to overcome his fear. Then he goes one step further and chooses bat as his symbol to instill fear among the criminals of Gotham city.

The fear which he used to run away from, now he uses that same fear to scare criminals of Gotham city. Hence turning his fear into a potent weapon. You should see fear as an opportunity for self growth.

Avoiding fear will only exhaust you. You’ll live in constant worry, thinking of ways you can avoid situations. The other option is to face your fears and set yourself free.

Practice self-control and discipline

Batman is known for his self-control and discipline. His natural impulse just like everyone is to kill his enemies but he chooses not to because killing goes against his value system. Bruce Wayne undergoes a lot of training to become the masked vigilante, which requires a lot of self-discipline.

Practicing self-control facilitates us to make correct decisions during tough and intense situations where things are at stake. And to achieve success in any field a high level of discipline is required.

Bruce Wayne is my favorite superhero. I like Peter Parker more than Spider-Man.
